Leathers, motorcycles and greasy hair agents are back in the last quarter of 2014 as 9Works Theatrical brings back the love story of Danny Zuko and Sandy Dumbrowski y on November 15 to December 7, 2014 at the Carlos P. Romulo Auditorium in RCBC Plaza, Makati City. Coming from the success of the 2013 Grease Manila production with Gian Magdangal and Frencheska Farr, and another masterpiece early this year with Nikki Gil and Joaquin Valdes in The Last 5 Years, the re-run of Grease will give theater goers the fun of falling in love once again when we are truly young and free to do things.
And now in the re-run of Grease Manila, 9Works Theatrical introduces the new Danny and Sandy and they are Guji Lorenzana and Tippy Dos Santos.
Tippy and Guji are household names in the Kapamilya network they appeared both TV and film projects. For Tippy, she appeared in Galema: Anak ni Zuma, Maalaala Mo Kaya, Princess And I, Sabal, I Do Bidoo Bidoo: Heto nAPO Sila, and Once A Princess. For Guji, he appeared in I Love Betty La Fea, Maalaala Mo Kaya, Imortal, Precious Hearts Presents, It Takes A Man And A Woman and She’s The One.
And in terms of theater Tippy appeared in Peter Pan, while Guji became part of the production of West Side Story, Tales Of The Manuvu and Legally Blonde the Musical. The re-run of Grease Manila also stars Marvin Ong, Alexandra Godinez, Nel Gomez, Gabriela Pangilinan, and Stephen Silva.
