After being nominated last August 25 by Darla Sauler in Kris TV to do the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, Kim Chiu responded in her Instagram account @chinitaprincess with an image of the donation page of the ALSA Association where she donated a certain amount to help the research of the said organization that focus on the studies on how to cure and prevent the amyotrophic lateral sclerosis a motor neurone disease also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease. Before Kim was nominated by Darla it was Kris Aquino who nominated him to do the ice bucket challenge.
In Kim’s Instragram post that was posted earlier today: “donation done!!!!! pwede bang challenge to follow nalang? @darlasauler haha came from taping and now shooting naman.. (magipon lang ako ng lakas) haha donate through alsa.org #alsicebucketchallenge.” She mentioned that she already donated to ALS Association and she promises that she will be doing the ice bucket challenge soon where she needs to have to courage to do it especially that she has taping back and fourth.
Aside from Kim, Darla also nominated Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla which both accepted and did the challenge and posted on Kathryn’s Instagram as their opening of the KathNiel Day.
