We followed her journey in The Voice Kids Philippines as a child from Cavite who wanted to share her talent and at the same time the chance to change the lives of her family, and it became a reality for Lyca Gairanod when she won the title as the first ever champion of the said musical reality franchise in ABS-CBN. Lyca became the inspiration of every viewer of The Voice Kids not only with her exceptional talent but also her story that made her one of the well-loved contestant of the show.
And this Saturday on Maalaala Mo Kaya (MMK) it will showcase the story of Lyca before she entered The Voice Kids as an ordinary kid in the streets of Cavite with her family with everyday struggle in order to live until she entered the show.
