Last July 17 Malacanang signed the Proclamation No. 831, s. 2014 that contains the declaration of regular, non-working and special holidays in the Philippines that will happen on 2015. And the said declaration was officially released and we are just waiting for the posting on the Gov.PH (Official Gazette of the Communication Department of Malacanang). In line with the proclamation here are the list of the important dates that we are looking forward for long weekends and vacation plans.
Regular Holidays

- Araw ng Kagitingan – April 9 (Thursday)
- Labor Day – May 1 (Friday)
- Independence Day – June 12 (Friday)
- National Heroes Day – August 31 (Last Monday of August)
- Bonifacio Day – November 30 (Monday)
- Christmas Day – December 25 (Friday)
- Rizal Day – December 30 (Wednesday)
Special (Non-Working) Days
- Chinese New Year – February 19 (Thursday)
- Black Saturday – April 4
- Ninoy Aquino Day – August 21 (Friday)
- All Saints Day – November 1 (Sunday)
Additional special (non-working) days
- January 2 (Friday) – After New Year
- December 24 (Thursday) – Before Christmas
- December 31 (Thursday) – Last Day of the Year

EDSA Revolution Anniversary – February 25 (Wednesday)
In terms of the Islamic holiday the Malacanang hadn’t issued the date yet for the celebration of Eid’l Fitr and Eidul Adha which National Commission on Muslim Filipinos (NCMF) will be the one to inform the Malacanang for the proper announcement to the public for the observation of the two Muslim holidays.
