A week after the issuance of warrant of arrest for Deniece Cornejo, Cedric Lee, and 6 more friends regarding the case of grave coercion where involved persons has already posted their bail, the Taguig Regional Trail Court now issues another warrant of arrest for the involved persons to face serious illegal detention charges that Vhong Navarro filed few months ago. Aside from Deniece and Cedric, warrant of arrest were issued to Jed Fernandez, Simeon Raz Jr., and Ferdinand Guerrero.
The warrant of arrest was issued by Judge Paz Esperanza Cortes of the Taguig Regional Trail Court Branch 271. The warrant of arrest was posted 12pm this afternoon and unlike the grave coercion, the serious illegal detention is non-bailable offense which the persons involved will be put behind bars.
Meanwhile, Bernice Lee and Jose Calma who were both included in the grave coercion case were not included in the serious illegal detention case. Earlier aside from the grave coercion, the rape case that Deniece filled against Vhong was junked by the DOJ.
