2009 CNN Hero of the Year Efren Peñaflorida confesses that he is courting actress Angel Locsin who is his long time crush. During his interview at Boy Abunda’s The Bottomline with courage he declares that she likes Angel and willing to court her and to be his girl friend. Right now Peñaflorida visits and start courting Locsin. Angel was the former girlfriend of Entertainment Live host Luis Manzano where they broke up late last year.
Efren Peñaflorida became popular with his push cart education campaign in Cavite City where they teach basic education including values to children who unfortunate to have education due to poverty. He won the 2009 CNN Hero of the Year and brought home $100,000 as grand prize and additional $25, 000 as part of the prizes of the top 10 honorees of the competition.
