After giving her official statement last Monday (January 6) that she will be staying with the Kapamilya Network after so many speculation that she might be the next president of GMA 7 and followed by an interview with Boy Abunda in Buzz ng Bayan last Jan. 12, Kris Aquino officially made her stay with ABS-CBN official. Kris renewed her contract with ABS-CBN early today (Jan. 14) with the ABS-CBN Management headed by ABS-CBN Chairman Eugenio “Gabby” Lopez III, ABS-CBN President Charo Santos-Concio, ABS-CBN Channel 2 Head Cory Vidanes, Carlo Katigbak, and Kris’ manager and also business unit head Deo Edrinal.
In Kris’ statement via her instagram she denied that rumor that she was talking with the GMA Management but she was thankful for the support that was shown to her and her film My Little Bossings that stars James “Bimby” Yap Jr, Vic Sotto and Ryzza Mae Dizon. But she didn’t deny that she had a meeting with Manny V. Pangilinan. Meanwhile, in her interview with Boy in Buzz ng Bayan she said that the offer of ABS-CBN was good which for her a mother she thinks on the good of her sons especially Josh.
With Kris renewing her contract with ABS-CBN will finally end all the rumors about her TV Network transfer and the idea of being the next Kapuso president that became a hot topic during her European vacation with her sons during the holiday.
