Lead actor of the Fast & Furious film series Vin Diesel confirmed that in the Fast & Furious 7 fans will still see the character of Brian O’ Conner portrayed by the late Paul Walker. Diesel posted a photo (see photo below) in his facebook account last December 23 remembering his last scene with the co-actor. As the caption stated “The last scene we filmed together…There was a unique sense of completion, of pride we shared… in the film we were now completing… the magic captured… and, in just how far we’ve come…”
Diesel also mentioned that the Fast and Furious 7 will be released on April 10, 2015 and mentioning that Paul wanted the fans to know first. With the permanent absence of Paul in the cast, producers of the film will be getting Cody the 25 year old stunt man brother of Paul to take his role and finish the 7th installment of the film. Up to date there are still rumors that there are adjustments on the script and plan on how to shoot Cody that will fit him to the shoes of his brother.
Paul Walker died in a fatal car crash last November 30 in Los Angeles. He died at the age of 40 and was a resident of Santa Barbara, California and father of a 15-year-old girl.
