From being Papa Chen in My Binondo Girl and Ser Chief in Be Careful with My Heart, Richard Yap now enters another chapter of his life and this time showcasing his singing talent. Star Records now releases his self titled album in all record stores nationwide and making Richard’s dream to have a singing career come true. The album, just like his current TV series in ABS-CBN has a collection of feel good and easy to listen songs composed of nine revivals that were all chosen by Richard Yap.
The album contains Promise Ain’t Enough, Think I’m In Love Again, Can Find No Reason, You Take My Breath Away, Chasing Cars, High, Afterglow, and the Chinese version of Oh Babe. Also included and the carrier single of his album is the song Don’t Know What To Do, Don’t Know What To Say. It also carries the bonus tracks Please Be Careful with My Heart and Salamat.
Richard Yap grew listening with the songs performed by Queen, Barry Manilow, Kenny Rogers, Hall and Oates, Phil Collins, and Mike Francis that made it easy for him to perform all the songs included in his album.
