Another “gods and goddesses” at the cheer dance arena of the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) is the University of the Philippines (UP) Pep Squad. They’re known with unique and benchmarks of new and innovative ideas in terms of looks, costumes and stunts at the competition. This year at the 2013 UAAP Cheer Dance Competition they did a “party themed” approach in their routines and props giving a fun and upbeat mood in the SM Mall of Asia (MOA) Arena. Next to UST Salinggawi Dance Troupe they reigned in the cheerdance for several years.

Other participating schools in the 2013 UAAP Cheer Dance Competition are Adamson University, University of Santo Tomas, National University, Ateneo de Manila University, De La Salle University, University of the East, and Far Eastern University.
