After being not present in primetime television for more than a year after his hit teleserye Budoy, Gerald Anderson returns to evening timeslot of ABS-CBN with Bukas Na Lang Kita Mamahalin. Gerald will be playing the role of Miguel Dizon, a person who a victim of being dragged to a crime he didn’t commit. Joining him are power cast including Dawn Zulueta, Dina Bonnevie, Cristine Reyes, Diana Zubiri, Rayver Cruz and Tonton Gutierrez. Bukas Na Lang Kita Mamahalin was directed by Jerome Chavez and Pobocan Trina N. Dayrit.
Almost similar to his recent film OTJ, the character played by Gerald Anderson will be sent to jail and will experience the hardship and pain behind bars. But unlike his character Miguel he was victim of being dragged to a crime he didn’t committed. Aside from the pain he will endure behind bars is the breaking of the heart of Zenaida, Miguel’s mother who believed that her son is innocent and a victim at the same time. But what will Zenaida (Dawn) do to prove that her son is not guilty? And how will Miguel struggle to live another day for his mother and the woman he love named Amanda (Cristine)?
Bukas Na Lang Kita Mamahalin will show the great love of mother to her son who will do anything to save him. At the same time the journey of an innocent man who struggles to receive justice right for him. Bukas Na Lang Kita Mamahalin airs on ABS-CBN Primetime Bida after Muling Buksan ANg Puso starting September 2.
