Actor and model JC de Vera finally ended all the rumors of his transfer to the Kapamilya Network after signing a contract early this afternoon with ABS-CBN together with the ABS-CBN President Charo-Santos Concio, Channel 2 Head Cory Vidanes and Business Head Julie Anne Benitez. Before signing contract with ABS-CBN, JC de Vera came from TV 5 where he signed a 3 year non-exclusive contract with TV 5 last March 17, 2010. During that time he mostly did hosting on the TV 5 along with some acting projects including 5 Star Specials presents JC De Vera, My Driver Sweet Lover, Ang Utol Kong Hoodlum, Enchanted Garden, Valiente and his last show Cassandra: Warrior Angel with Eula Caballero which is still running on the Primetime timeslot of the Kapatid Network.
But JC de Vera started in the Kapuso Network where his first acting stint is with the network’s teen oriented show Click in 2003. He stayed in GMA 7 for almost 6 and a half year of his showbiz career where his notable projects include Mars Ravelo’s Captain Barbell in 2006, Babangon Ako’t Dudurugin Kita and LaLola in 2008, and Panday Kids in 2010.
Now in the Kapamilya Network particularly in the team of Dreamscape that is known to be one of the producers of ABS-CBN in terms of great stories and characters it will surely challenge and develop the acting skills of JC de Vera. Up to date there are no details yet on what will be his projects here.
