Since she started to appear in ASAP in 2011 where she showcases her acoustic talent along with her talent in playing guitars, showbiz royalty Zia Quizon officially embraces the offer of Star Magic to be part of their growing family. She signed with Star Magic last week.
Zia is the daughter of the late Comedy King Dolphy and Divine Diva Zsa Zsa Padilla. She graduated English Literature at the De La Salle University which according to her singing is her hobby and she loves writing. She had her own taste in music and that is acoustic which she was placed in the Acoustic Republic segment of ASAP together with Sam Milby and Paolo Valenciano during her first ever appearance in the top-rating Sunday variety show of ABS-CBN.
She released her self-titled album under PolyEast EMI in 2011 that reached gold and in 2012 she was awarded as the 25th Awit Award’ Best Performance by a New Female Recording Artist and her song as Song of the Year. Up to date Zia is currently working on her second album which most of the songs were original and written by her. She had a collaboration song with famous rapper Gloc-9 entitled Katulad ng Iba which is an anti-bullying campaign.
