Maja Salvador celebrates 10 years in the entertainment industry

Last April 7 together with her fellow Star Magic artists Thou Reyes, Kakai Bautista and Young JV, showbiz royalty and Gawad Urian awardee Maja Salvador celebrates her 10th year anniversary in the entertainment industry at the same time being part of the Kapamilya Network. Her 10th year anniversary entitled Maja Salvador unveils @ 10 will be a series of mall tours and events to give back to her supporters in all part of the country and those who were reached by the TFC. Maja Salvador unveils @ 10 kicked off at the Glorietta 1 in Makati City last April 7.

Maja started her TV appearance in 2001 and her first acting project is in Maalaala Mo Kaya entitled Diary from there she became a regular in MMK episodes where she did the role of Regina “April” Hernandez with Vilma Santos for the Regalo episode where she has her first nomination for the Philippine Movie Press Club’s (PMPC) Star Awards for Movies for the category Best Single Performance by a Lead Actress. Aside from MMK she became part of ABS-CBN teleseryes including It Might Be You (2003), Spirits (2004), Sa Piling Mo (2005), Pangarap na Bituin (2007), Pedro Penduko (2007), Sineserye Presents: Patayin Sa Sindak Si Barbara (2008), Komiks Presents: Kapitan Boom (2008), Nagsimula sa Puso (2009), May Bukas Pa (2009), Precious Hearts Romances Presents: Impostor (2010), Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin (2011), My Binondo Girl (2011), Precious Hearts Romances Presents: Lumayo Ka Man Sa Akin (2012) and now with Kim Chiu, Enchong Dee, Xian Lim, Ariel Rivera, Janice de Belen and Cherry Pie Picache in the top-rating Ina Kapatid Anak.

From TV and being mainstay of ASAP, Maja Salvador showcases her talent in film from Sukob and First Day High in 2006, One Mor Chance in 2007 where she works with John Lloyd Cruz and Bea Alonzo in this film, Villa Estrella in 2008, Cinco in 2010 and Father Jejemon where she worked with the late comedy King Dolphy, Thelma in 2011 where she landed Best Actress in the prestigious Gawad Urian Awards and last 2012 My Cactus Heart and 24/7 in Love.

According to Maja she is looking forward for more projects and challenges that will come in her 10th year in the entertainment industry and she is also thankful for the trust and supports that ABS-CBN, Star Magic and supporters have given her from the time she entered showbiz until now. Aside from acting and dancing, Maja mentioned that she is hoping to show her talent in singing which she will be showing in her Maja Salvador unveils @ 10 tours. From the success that she’s enjoying in her career, Maja will always have the soft side in her where she supports the Ephesus Home for Women and Children in Guiguinto, Bulacan which she even invited the kids of the organization in her kick off event.
