Almost one month being one of the top-rating teleseryes of ABS-CBN, Apoy Sa Dagat welcomes the multi-awarded actress Aiko Melendez as the latest cast of the drama series playing the role of the older Odessa. Previously played by Nikki Gil during the pilot week, she is the mother of Rebecca and Serena played by Angelica Panganiban. After 20 she will be returning to the Del Sol family to claim her right to be the mother of Rebecca and the wife of Alberto that was previously played by Patrick Garcia.
With all her experiences and pain that she endured from all those years, Odessa became stronger and more powerful woman who is determined to reclaim what were taken from her. What will she do to get the trust of her daughter Rebecca who suffered for so many years in the hands of Adrianna (Angel Aquino) who claims to be the wife of Alberto and to Rosanna who is now known as Serena whom she thought was already dead, how will she accept that she is alive?
