Sarah Geronimo and Bamboo certified The Voice of the Philippines

After weeks of speculations of who will be the coach-judges of the much awaited The Voice of the Philippines that will be airing on the Kapamilya Network very soon, ABS-CBN officially named two music icons who will be screening and molding the future singing sensation in the country. The two coach-judges include the Popstar Princess Sarah Geronimo and the iconic alternative singer Bamboo. The announcement was done a week after the announcement of Toni Gonzaga as the host of The Voice of the Philippines, which Sarah was the first to be announced during the grand finale of her Sarah G Live which she gained the title of the Voice of Pop, meanwhile Bamboo was named as the second coach-judges few days after and fans called him as the Voice of Rock.

Being a product of the talent search Star for A Night in IBC 13, Sarah Geronimo has proven her worth in the music industry where she captures the heart of every Filipinos with her beautiful voice. From singing she ventured to acting in both TV and movie where she played the iconic role Dorina Pineda which was originally played by Sharon Cuneta in the movie Bituing Walang Ningning. She will also be playing the role of Laida Magtalas for the third time with John Lloyd Cruz with Star Cinema’s It Takes A Man And A Woman. With all her experience as a Popstar Princess, Sarah will surely have the edge in choosing who will be the next singing superstar by sharing her struggles and triumphs to the contestants who will be under her team.

Meanwhile, Bamboo Mañalac or simply Bamboo who was a former member of Rivermaya and later created his own band that lasted until 2011 before he decided to go on a solo artist is the second person named as the second coach-judge of The Voice of the Philippines. With his experience in the music industry being a vocalist of the two award winning bands and has the expertise in the genre of rock, jazz and blues Bamboo will surely be on the right place to mentor the new set of aspiring singers of the upcoming The Voice of the Philippines.

Aside from Toni, Sarah and Bamboo, Robi Domingo will be joining The Voice of The Philippines as one of the hosts of the reality talent search of ABS-CBN.
