ABS-CBN has proven their reach to TV viewers after reaching to 36.5% national TV ratings for Juan dela Cruz on its pilot episode last February 4. With these ratings the teleserye that stars Coco Martin, Erich Gonzales, Albert Martinez, ZsaZsa Padilla, Joel Torre, Gina Pareño, Lotlot de Leon, William Lorenzo, Lilia Cuntapay, Neil Coleta, and Arron Villaflor in the top 10 TV shows based on Kantar Media. Aside from that Juan dela Cruz has 20 points higher than its rival program in GMA “Indio” which only got 16.5%.
Meanwhile, the journey of Juan dela Cruz begins under the caring of Father Cito (Jaime Fabregas) who was his guardian after the death of his mother Amelia (Mylene Dizon) who died after giving birth to him. The young Juan dela Cruz was played by Izzy Canillo and the young Rosario was played by Alyanna Angeles where the path of the two characters will be crossing this week. Aside from that the blood of the aswang manifests to him but with the help of Father Cito he will try to prepare him to be the bantay like his mother and not go in to the dark side.
Juan dela Cruz was Malu Sevilla and Avel Sunpongco and airs on ABS-CBN weeknights after TV Patrol.
