Warner Bros releases The Great Gatsby character posters

In line with the release of the much anticipated The Great Gatsby in all theaters nationwide on May 15, 2013, Warner Bros Pictures releases the character posters of the film directed by Baz Luhrmann. The Great Gatsby posters includes the lead characters: Leonardo Di Caprio as Jay Gatsby, Carey Mulligan as Daisy Buchanan, Tobey Maguire as Nick Carraway, Elizabeth Debicki as Jordan Baker, Isla Fisher as Myrtle Wilson, and Joel Edgerton as Tom Buchanan.

The film is based from F. Scott Fitzgerald 1925 novel with the same name that follows the chasing of Fitzgerald-like, would-be writer Nick Carraway on his American dream set in 1922 right after the World War II. With his ambition Nick enters the world of the super rich, their illusions, loves and deceits including meeting the famous and the great Jay Gatsby, mysterious, party-giving millionaire. Joining Nick in joining the deceitful world of the great Gatsby is his cousin, Daisy, and her philandering, blue-blooded husband, Tom Buchanan. From the rich and glamorous life of Gatsby and his friends, Nick will discover his dark side that brings impossible love, incorruptible dreams and high-octane tragedy, and holds a mirror to our own modern times and struggles.

The Great Gatsby will be in both regular, IMAX 3D and Digital 3D format from a screenplay co-written with frequent collaborator Craig Pearce. It will be distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures, a Warner Bros. Entertainment Company, and in select territories by Village Roadshow Pictures.
