It’s more fun in the Philippines especially when we have our festivals. Last January we have the Ati-Atihan Festival in Aklan, Sinulog Festival in Cebu, and Dinagyang Festival in Iloilo. This February we will be having the 17th Baguio Flower Festival Celebration or popularly known as the Panagbenga Festival. Here are the highlights for those who will be going to Baguio City and join the festivities started from February 1 to March 4.

February 25, 8:00 am – Grand Street Dancing Parade – Panagbenga Park to Athletic Bowl
February 26, 8:00 am – Grand Parade Float – Panagbenga Park to Athletic Bowl
February 26, 5:00 pm – Kapuso Fiesta Mall Show – SM City Baguio
February 26-28 – Auto Show by Speed Limits Auto Club – Baguio Convention Center
February 27-March 4 – Session Road Bloom – Session Road
March 1 – Free Concert Pop Fiesta Event by iFM – Athletic Bowl
March 2-3 – Pony Boy’s Day – Athletic Bowl
March 2, 6:00 pm – Campus Radio Bulaklak Rock – Session Road
March 3 – Kapamilya Karavan – Athletic Bowl
March 4 – Panagbenga Closing Ceremonies and Grand Fireworks – Athletic Bowl

So for those heading to Baguio City, my tip for you are to play your itinerary properly so that you can enjoy your stay and I suggest check in at Eurotel Hotel at the 123 Abanao Extension at the Brgy Rizal Park just a few walk from Burnham Park and Session Road. It’s very affordable and with all the amenities that it offers like WI-FI access you can upload and share all the photos you had taken during the festival on your Facebook and Blogs. Aside from that it has breakfast and lunch buffet that is very affordable and perfect on you budget. So enjoy your stay on Baguio City at the 2012 Panagbenga Festival!
