Lee Min Ho is back after the success of Boys Over Flowers as Gu Jun Pyo and Perfect Match (originally Personal Preference) as Jeon Jin Ho, he will be playing Lee Yoon Sung in TV series entitled City Hunter. The Korean action drama is based on a Japanese manga series with the same title and it was written and illustrated by Tsukasa Hojo. Joining Lee Min Ho in this show are Park Min Young, Lee Joon Hyuk, Hwang Sun Hee, Goo Hara, and Lee Kwang Soo. City Hunter will airing on ABS-CBN beginning January 23 on Primetime Bida.
The TV series follows Lee Yoon Sung (Lee Min Ho), an assassin or City Hunter whose main goal it to avenge for the death of his father. He will be using the identity of a dead American-Korean IT person named John Lee and will work at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Through this he will have the chance to enter the Korea’s presidential palace to fulfill his goal. But after meeting Kim Na Na (Park Min Young), who is one of presidential guard and fell in love with her. He tries to protect Nana from the many enemies hunting him down and later works together but things will chance when the truth is finally revealed to them.
