SM has broadened its integrated rewards ecosystem through a new partnership between its loyalty program, SMAC, and global travel platform Trip.com, giving members more opportunities to earn points on travel bookings.
Through the collaboration, SMAC members can earn one point for every PHP250 spent on hotel and flight bookings made via Trip.com. Points will be credited within 60 working days after the completion of the booking, such as after a hotel stay or flight.
The partnership reinforces SM’s broader ecosystem strategy of linking retail, banking, property, and lifestyle services to create a more seamless and rewarding customer experience.

“Through strategic partnerships, both within and beyond the SM Group, we continue to enhance the value proposition for our members,” said Patrick Cua, Chief Operating Officer of SMAC. “This collaboration with Trip.com expands our travel ecosystem, enabling members to earn rewards while accessing destinations locally and globally.”
Trip.com operates as a one-stop international travel service provider, offering services in 24 languages across 39 countries and regions, with transactions supported in 35 currencies. Its platform features access to more than 1.5 million hotels, flights from over 640 airlines, and more than 300,000 attractions and tour offerings, covering 3,400 airports worldwide.
To take advantage of the offer, members must log in through smac.ph and access Trip.com via the SMAC homepage before completing their booking.
The new partnership adds to SMAC’s growing roster of travel and lifestyle collaborations, which include Philippine Airlines’ Mabuhay Miles, AirAsia Rewards, and SM Hotels. Beyond travel, SMAC continues to expand benefits across retail and financial services, including its remittance rewards program with SM Store and BDO.
