PLDT Enterprise, the corporate business arm of PLDT, has been honored at the 2025 International Business Awards (IBA) for the successful launch of Tech Week PH, the group’s first multi-city technology roadshow aimed at advancing digital inclusion, strengthening ecosystem collaboration, and accelerating technology adoption in high-growth regions across the Philippines.
The Stevie® Awards, organizers of the IBAs, are among the world’s premier business award-giving bodies, recognizing outstanding achievements and contributions of organizations and professionals worldwide since 2002. The International Business Awards® are open to companies across the globe and spotlight excellence in all areas of work.
Tech Week PH 2025 earned a Bronze recognition in the Art, Entertainment & Public – Roadshow category. The initiative convened startups, developers, government leaders, enterprise executives, and regional ecosystem players through an education and business platform that connected them with global technology partners. Each event stop was designed to reflect local contexts and sector-specific priorities, making enterprise technology more accessible, relevant, and inclusive.
The roadshow took place in Davao and Cebu and featured panel discussions, technical workshops, and solution showcases covering cloud, AI, cybersecurity, and digital infrastructure. More than 1,500 attendees from over 500 companies representing diverse industries joined the event to explore emerging regional trends and technologies that can drive business growth.
Mitch Locsin, First Vice President and Head of Enterprise Core Business at PLDT and Smart, emphasized that the award affirms the company’s commitment to customer-centric innovation.
“We wanted Tech Week PH to be a lasting, impactful experience for all participants. It reflects our commitment to our customers. By bringing relevant technologies and solutions directly to where our partners and clients operate, we ensure that no one is left behind in the country’s fast-paced digital transformation. This award is a testament to our dedication to helping businesses grow, innovate, and thrive wherever they are in the Philippines.”
Tech Week builds on the success of PLDT Enterprise’s PH Digicon, extending its reach to key provincial growth hubs and ensuring businesses nationwide can access cutting-edge solutions and insights. The program also supports the UN Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth) and SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure).
