Security Bank Foundation, Inc. (SBFI) received three prestigious awards at the 21st Philippine Quill Awards held on August 27, 2025, at The Manila Hotel, recognizing sustained impact in advancing education through long-term programs and partnerships.

SBFI received a Quill Award of Excellence for its “Paint a Classroom, Paint a Brighter Future” initiative, where Security Bank employees repainted Foundation-donated classrooms and took part in reflection sessions on the value of education and volunteerism. This marks the Foundation’s fourth Excellence Award since 2015.

Two Quill Merit Awards were also given for SBFI’s flagship education programs:

  • “Hand in Hand: Partnership for Transforming the Country’s Future, One Classroom at a Time” – a nationwide effort addressing classroom shortages through the construction of two-story school buildings, in partnership with DepEd, LGUs, and training providers.
  • “Mentoring Future Leaders for Nation-Building – Principals Training Track” – a three-year leadership development program that equips public school principals to become stronger instructional and transformational leaders.

“These awards are not just milestones for us, but reminders of why we do what we do,” said Rafael F. Simpao, Jr., Chairman of Security Bank Foundation. “With 11 Quill awards since 2015, we remain committed to ensuring execution excellence and creating long-term impact for our programs.”

Organized by the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) Philippines, the Philippine Quill Awards is the country’s most prestigious recognition for excellence in business communication. It honors strategic, effective, and impactful communication programs across industries.
