Prime Video has announced Nice to Not Meet You, a charming new Korean romantic comedy series starring global superstar Lee Jung-jae (Squid Game, The Acolyte, Hunt) and acclaimed actress Lim Ji-yeon (The Glory, The Tale of Lady Ok, Lies Hidden in My Garden). The series will premiere exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories, with new episodes dropping weekly.
Offering a witty peek behind the curtain of the entertainment industry, Nice to Not Meet You tells the story of an unexpected connection between Lim Hyeon-jun (Lee Jung-jae), a typecast actor longing for a fresh start in melodramas, and Wi Jeong-sin (Lim Ji-yeon), an award-winning political journalist suddenly reassigned to the entertainment beat. What begins as a clash of personalities slowly evolves into a charming, heartfelt romance filled with humor and surprising chemistry.

Lee Jung-jae, fresh off his global success in Squid Game, takes on the role of Hyeon-jun, a veteran actor known for playing Kang Pil-gu, the beloved lead of a long-running detective series now entering its fifth season. While his career is at its peak, he yearns to break free from typecasting and prove himself in a deeper, more dramatic role.
Opposite him, Lim Ji-yeon plays Wi Jeong-sin, a fearless journalist whose award-winning political reporting is abruptly sidelined. Forced into entertainment coverage mid-investigation, Jeong-sin struggles to adapt to a world she never planned to enter—until she finds herself drawn into the orbit of the very actor she’s been tasked to cover.
Directed by Kim Ga-ram (Good Partner, Nevertheless) and written by Jung Yeo-rang (Doctor Cha), the series blends industry satire, laugh-out-loud moments, and tender romance, offering viewers a refreshing new take on the rom-com genre.
Nice to Not Meet You joins the extensive Prime Video library of Korean dramas, anime, and Amazon Originals, including Head Over Heels, GOOD BOY, The Divorce Insurance, Spice Up Our Love, No Gain No Love, Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX, Jujutsu Kaisen 0, and fan-favorite series like Fallout, Reacher, The Boys, and The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power.
