Promising artist Kanishia Santos takes listeners on an emotional journey through the highs, lows, and glow ups of romance with her first full-length album and comeback project “IKYK.”
“It talks about the ups, down, and the new chapter of being in love,” the StarPop artist shared during a livestream.
The album title, short for “if you know, you know,” perfectly captures its intimate and relatable themes. “IKYK” features eight tracks: “Paraiso,” “IKYK,” “Aaminin Ko Na,” “Halata,” “Pilit,” “Like I Do,” “Daybreak,” and “Sige Lang.”

Penned by talented songwriters Trisha Denise, Dennis Campañer, Angelica Tagadtad, and Hazel Faith D. Santos, the album was produced by StarPop label head Roque “Rox” Santos, who also served as composer and executive producer.
Key tracks include “Paraiso,” a song about finding a love that feels like paradise, “Halata,” which captures the thrill of sending love signals to someone special, and “Sige Lang,” a heartfelt closing track about embracing fresh starts and new beginnings.
Kanishia, sister of “Sins of the Father” star L.A. Santos, first made waves in 2020 with her debut single “A Little Taste of Danger.” She followed it up with her 2022 EP “Born to Cry” and even performed at the prestigious 2022 Awit Awards.
Fans can now stream “IKYK” on all major digital platforms and experience Kanishia’s heartfelt take on the many stages of love.
