For years, Rockwell Center has been a shining symbol of Christmas cheer, known for its iconic tree lighting, dazzling holiday decor, and signature lights that create heartwarming moments of togetherness. More than just a destination for shopping and dining, Rockwell has become a true holiday haven where families and friends gather to celebrate the most wonderful time of the year.
This December, Rockwell is taking its holiday celebrations to the next level as it partners with 9 Works Theatrical to present the beloved hit musical A Christmas Carol. Directed by Robbie Guevara with music by Alan Menken, lyrics by Lynn Ahrens, and book by Mike Ockrent and Lynn Ahrens, this spectacular Broadway adaptation of Charles Dickens’ classic brings the story of Ebenezer Scrooge to life.

Audiences will once again be moved by Scrooge’s ghostly encounters on Christmas Eve, a journey of redemption, generosity, and rediscovering the joy of family. The production perfectly embodies the spirit of the holidays and mirrors Rockwell’s tradition of spreading warmth and wonder during the festive season.
Running from November to December 2025, A Christmas Carol will be the third major production of the year at the Proscenium Theater, concluding an exciting season of world-class performances.
With its timeless message and dazzling production, this staging promises to make the Rockwell experience even more magical. Whether you’re a theater enthusiast or simply looking for a memorable way to celebrate the season, A Christmas Carol at Rockwell’s Proscenium Theater is a must-see event that captures the heart of Christmas. Tickets will be available very soon via the Rockwell Ticketing Booth, so stay tuned for updates.
