As part of its 10th anniversary celebration, Shopee, the leading e-commerce platform in Southeast Asia, Taiwan, and Brazil, has introduced the Shopee Tatak Pinoy: Sibol Accelerator Program (SAP), a new growth initiative designed to help promising Filipino MSMEs scale and succeed in the digital economy.
SAP is a structured, six-month program under the broader Shopee Tatak Pinoy banner, offering selected entrepreneurs tailored guidance, expert mentorship, and milestone-driven support to build strong business foundations and unlock long-term growth. Building on the success of the 2025 Shopee Tatak Pinoy MSME Roadshow, this new program reflects Shopee’s continued commitment to investing in Filipino entrepreneurship.
“At Shopee, we believe that when MSMEs grow, communities thrive,” said Vincent Lee, Head of Shopee Philippines. “The Sibol Accelerator is designed to help Filipino sellers take the next step, whether that means growing faster, scaling smarter, or building a lasting presence online. As we celebrate 10 years in the Philippines, this program reflects our vision for long-term, inclusive growth.”

The six-month journey kicks off in Q4 2025 with an intensive bootcamp, followed by customized coaching, access to Shopee experts, and milestone-based incentives to recognize progress. Learning areas will cover shop and content optimization, marketing and campaign strategy, affiliate and community marketing, fulfillment and customer experience, and performance tracking with data-driven business planning. Each participant will also receive a tailored growth plan aligned with their business goals, supported by structured guidance throughout the program.
- Shop and content optimization – improving product presentation, branding, and discoverability
- Marketing and campaign planning – building strategies that drive visibility and sales
- Affiliate and community-driven marketing – expanding reach through creator and community partnerships
- Fulfillment and customer experience – enhancing reliability, responsiveness, and service quality
- Performance tracking and business planning – using data to make informed, growth-focused decisions
“Shopee’s Tatak Pinoy program has always been about uplifting local sellers and celebrating Filipino pride,” Lee added. “With the Sibol Accelerator, we are taking that further by offering hands-on support for MSMEs, from new entrepreneurs to established businesses ready to scale.”
The pilot run of SAP will invite 20 local MSMEs who demonstrate readiness and ambition to grow strategically. The program is designed for sellers who show consistent shop activity and strong customer engagement, a drive for continuous improvement, commitment to contributing to the local economy, and a long-term vision for growth and sustainability.

- A drive for continuous improvement — through operational upgrades, new strategies, or data-informed decisions
