Leading the powerhouse cast is Kapuso Primetime Princess Barbie Forteza as Noreen Alfonso, a rags-to-riches beauty mogul on a mission to dismantle the empire built by her rivals. She faces off with Shari De Jesus (Kyline Alcantara), a brash social media star and CEO mentored by the influential Velma Imperial (Ruffa Gutierrez), Noreen’s idol-turned-adversary. As tensions rise and secrets unravel, the chaos of the beauty wars reveals an unseen force orchestrating the downfall of everyone involved.
Also starring Sid Lucero as Eddie, Sam Concepcion as Migoy, Chai Fonacier as Kriselda, and featuring special appearances by Ms. Gloria Diaz as Clara and Korean actor and K-pop star Choi Bo-Min as Alex in his Filipino debut, Beauty Empire offers a dynamic blend of drama, mystery, and glamour. Key scenes shot in South Korea add a global flair, appealing to both K-drama fans and local viewers.
Barbie Forteza describes the show as “punong-puno ng puso at pagmamahal sa pamilya,” highlighting its emotional depth beneath the stylish surface. She also shared the challenges and excitement of filming in South Korea, praising the team’s efficiency and professionalism.
Joining the ensemble cast are Gabby Padilla, Alex Agustin, Paolo O’Hara, Polo Laurel, Arkel Mendoza, Divine Aucina, Aaron Maniego, Noemi Gonzales, and Isay Alvarez. Created by award-winning filmmaker Real Florido and veteran screenwriter Rona Co, and directed by Mark Sicat Dela Cruz, the series first premiered on Viu last June 16.
