Shanaia Gomez bares her heart in her latest single, “Tried To Tell You,” a moving pop ballad that explores the pain of being unheard in a fading relationship.
Penned by Shanaia herself, the song tells the story of someone who struggles to express their emotions, hoping to save a love that’s slipping away. The track was produced by StarPop head Rox Santos, with musical arrangement by ALAS.
Known for her stint on Idol Philippines Season 1, Shanaia has steadily built her music and acting career. She recently starred in iWantTFC’s The Gatekeeper and previously appeared in He’s Into Her and the box-office hit Rewind. She also showed her range in theater productions like The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee and Once on This Island.
