GMA Network, CreaZion Studios, and Viu Philippines have officially partnered to produce the upcoming revenge drama series Beauty Empire.
The collaboration was formalized through a contract signing held on March 17 at the GMA Network Studios. The event was attended by top executives from the three companies.
Representing GMA Network was Senior Vice President for Programming, Talent Management, Worldwide, and Support Group, and GMA Films President and CEO, Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes. CreaZion Studios was represented by President and CEO Anter “RJ” San Agustin and Executive Vice President and Chief Content Officer Real Florido. Viu Philippines was represented by Country Manager Vinchi Sy-Quia and Creative Content Officer Garlic Garcia.
In her message, Atty. Gozon-Valdes highlighted how the partnership supports GMA’s mission to create diverse content for wider audiences. She also announced that GMA talents Barbie Forteza and Kyline Alcantara will headline the series.
Created by Real Florido and Rona Co of CreaZion Studios, Beauty Empire explores the fierce rivalries among powerful women in the beauty industry. The series is positioned as a modern Filipino drama that aims to inspire viewers to challenge conventional beauty standards.
Beauty Empire is produced by GMA Public Affairs and based on an original concept by CreaZion Studios. It will premiere on Viu before its television debut on GMA Network.
Joining Forteza and Alcantara in the cast are Ruffa Gutierrez, Gloria Diaz, Sam Concepcion, Choi Bo Min, Chai Fonacier, and Sid Lucero.
Also present at the signing were GMA executives Nessa Valdellon, Arlene Carnay, Neil Gumban, Joy Madrigal, Mildred Zarah Garcia, Concepcion Agnes, and Jojo Aquio. From the production team were Senior Program Managers JM Cobarrubias and Karen Lumbo, and Supervising Producer Bats Candelaria.
From CreaZion Studios, Jon Verzosa, Rona Co, Maureen Manuel, and Nieva Magpayo were in attendance. Viu Philippines representatives Mil Alcain, Sophie Agunat, and Stacey Bascon were also present.
