Bountiful Blooms, the first-ever Philippine International Flower Festival (PHILIFF), will soon become a buzz-worthy event from September 19-22. This inaugural festival aims to be the ultimate destination for floral enthusiasts and professionals alike, offering a comprehensive array of activities and exhibits.
PHILIFF promises to be a significant milestone for the Philippine floral industry that will empower local florists and horticulturists. The festival’s primary goal is to boost the Philippine economy by spotlighting various aspects of floral designing, garden landscaping, and a trade show. It will also feature exhibits on Ikebana, Bonsai, and Orchids, as well as a floral fashion show curated by Mr. Jerry Sibal, with contributions from international artists. The visionary producer behind this event, Jerry Sibal, is a Filipino-Chinese-American based in New York City. He authored a coffee table book, “An Event to Remember,” published by Stewart Tabori & Chang, an imprint of Abrams Books. Sibal, renowned for his ability to create magical settings for weddings, corporate events, and charity balls, envisions PHILIFF as a platform to promote the Philippines as a leading flower producer in the region. He passionately stated, “I want to bring dignity to our farmers. Let us be united in helping the farmers grow our economy as well.”
