Kapuso Network officially starts the search for the first champion of The Voice Generations. The reality singing competition is looking for a duo or group. It will be hosted by Kapuso prime actor and TV host Dingdong Dantes.
Here are the qualifications and requirements to join The Voice Generations:
- A group may have 3 or more members.
- The duo or group should have members from different generations (example: father and son, teacher and student, friends or colleagues from different age brackets)
- The members should have an authentic relationship with each other
- The youngest member should at least be 7 years old
- And must fill up the form and upload video not exceeding to 100MB (in file size) in the official audition site of The Voice Generations (http://GMANetwork.com/TheVoiceGenerationsAuditions)

The Voice Generations is the spin-off of The Voice franchise, and it started in Australia. Like the competition flow of The Voice it will have blind auditions, battle rounds, and grand finale. Each part will last for several weeks and will have coaches coming from the music and entertainment industry. GMA Network can also adopt format variations that other franchise has including knockouts, block button, switch, battle pass and wildcard depending on their agreement with the franchise owner.
Currently, ABS-CBN or Kapamilya Network is running The Voice Kids and previously hosted The Voice of the Philippines (Adult), and The Voice Teens.
