It is official, Ikaw Lang Iibigin will be the replacement of Langit Lupa starting May 1. The teleserye that marks the reunion of Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson popularly known as Kimerald that started inside the Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition in 2006 will now take over the PrimeTanghali before It’s Showtime.
The TV series will follow the story of childhood friends Bianca and Gabriel that separated by ambition. They find themselves on the triathlon, one is already a successful racer, which is Bianca and another one, Gabriel who is struggling to be in her world. Things became more complicated with sports drink tycoon Carlos (Jake Cuenca) is inlove with Bianca and wanting everything favor to him. While, Isabel (Coleen Garcia) will also do anything to get what she wanted including Carlos.
According to Kim and Gerald, the timeslot is not a problem. For them the most important is to deliver the beautiful material to the Kapamilya viewers. Watch their reaction below right after the announcement of the timeslot.
Ikaw Lang Ang Iibigin also stars Gina Pareno, Bing Loyzaga, Ayen Minji-Laurel, Andrea Brillantes, Grae Fernandez, Michael de Mesa, Dante Rivero and Dan Fernandez. The TV series is directed by Dan Villegas and Onat Diaz.
