The Superstar Judges are officially doing their job to screen the aspiring boyband idols for the “Pinoy Boyband Superstar”. The taping of the much-awaited reality singing competition started early this week immediately after the 80’s Matinee Idol Aga Muhlach officially signed his contract with ABS-CBN. In the judges’ table he was joined by the Phenomenal Superstar Vice Ganda, K-Pop Superstar Sandara Park and Pop Rock Princess Yeng Contantino.
“Pinoy Boyband Superstar” was a franchise of Latin American singing competition series created by Simon Cowell and produced by Ricky Martin entitled La Banda. In the original franchise that aspiring contestant will stand in front of the female crowd who will be deciding if they will pass the audition or not. They will be voting through a mobile application and once the contestant reach a certain percentage of approval they will meet the judges. If not they will either end their journey there or a judge can save them from there they will perform in the crowd.
The judge will complete a group of 5 contestant who will compete to each other and every phase members from each them will be eliminated until they reach the final 5 who will emerge as the winner boy band.
I’m looking forward on how the Philippines will take the viewers on this journey in selecting the new boyband superstars. Up to date, ABS-CBN is the home of brightest and most talented performers from the reality talent show including Yeng from Pinoy Dream Academy, Erik Santos of Star in a Million, Angeline Quinto of Star Power, KZ Tandingan of X-Factor Philippines,Mitoy Yonting, Klarisse de Guzman, Morisette Amon, Jason Dy, Daryl Ong , Lyca Gairanod and Elha Nimfa of The Voice and of course Sandara from Star Circle Quest
