We love exploring in terms of food; we try different kind of cuisine in order to make our taste buds more flexible in terms of flavors and various ways of cooking. But one thing is for sure, no matter how we explore and experiment there will always be what we call our very one, our favorite Pinoy dishes that’s truly diverse at the same time comforting. Kuya J Restaurant is one of the restaurants that offer authentic Pinoy dishes plus they recreated it in a way that we will surely love.

Kuya J Restaurant started in Escario street in Cebu, which became an instant favorite of Cebuanos because of the cuisine that’s homey and comforting. Later it expanded in SM City Cebu, SM City Consolacion, Cebu and SM City Bacolod. But the delicious cooking doesn’t ended there which they reach out to the Pinoy food lovers in Luzon where they open branches in SM City BF Parañaque, SM City Marikina, SM City Sta. Mesa, SM City Novaliches, SM City Dasmariñas, SM City Fairview, SM Center Pasig, SM City San Mateo, SM City Manila, SM San Lazaro, SM City Pampanga, SM City Clark and SM City San Fernando. As their branch in SM Megamall became full operational to cater families and barkadas especially during the weekend they also announced their first ever celebrity endorser – ABS-CBN’s prime artist Jericho Rosales.

Jericho, who also knows how to cook and enjoy Pinoy cuisine, shared that he always feel he is home everytime he dine in Kuya J. Not to mention he loves the signature dish of Kuya J, which is the Crispy Pata.

Aside from the superstar in the Kuya J menu, there wide range of dishes from vegetables, fish, meats that everyone will love including their beverages and desserts.

My other favorites include the Crispy Catfish, , Grilled Scallops and Tablea Coffee Plan.
