Being the 2014 best-selling interactive video game, Disney Infinity now releases the 3.0 edition that includes the toy box expansion, five play sets and new characters from across The Walt Disney Company. From the initial release in August of 2014 we enjoyed the characters from The Incredibles, Monsters University, Cars and Pirates of the Caribbean who joined us in our quest and help us create a world from out imagination. And in the release of the 2.0 edition in August we were joined by Anna and Elsa of Frozen, Toy Story’s Buzz Lightyear, Woody and Jessie, Wreck-it Ralph, Rapunzel of Tangled, Mickey the Sorcerer Apprentice of Fantasia and Jack Skellington from The Nightmare Before Christmas and many more.
With the SRP of Php 2, 999, everyone can avail the new Disney Infinity 3.0 and this time there will be more characters aside from the 1.0 and 2.0 editions that are still compatible with the play box including Star Wars. Characters who can enjoy playing and joining you in your journey in the Disney Infinity world include Anakin Skywalker, Ashoka Tano, Luke Skywalker, Leaia Organa, Finn, Rey, Boba Fett, Yoda, Obi-Wan Kinobi, Han Solo, Chewbacca, Darth Vader, Darth Maul, Ezra Bridger, Kanan Jarrus, Sabine Wenn, and Zeb Orrellus. If you are a Star Wars fan, you will notice most of the characters from the Episode 1-3.
According to James Pitaro, President, Disney Interactive that they worked closely with Lucasfilm to deliver an authentic Star Wars game experience, featuring some of the most iconic stories and characters from the past, present and future. With this it gives not the children the fun of playing the toy box even other members of the family for a perfect bonding on weekend.
Aside from the Star Wars that joined the Disney Infinity, Disney•Pixar and Marvel joined them too. Like the most loved characters of Inside Out including Joy, Sadness, Disgust, Anger and Fear will be there to give fun to everyone. For Marvel’s fans Hulkbuster Iron Man, Ultron, Iron Man, Thor, Black Widow, Captain America, Hulk, Hawkeye, Falcon, Loki, Nick Fury are included.
Other well loved characters across The Walt Disney Company included are Maleficent, Donald Duck, Tinker Bell, Princess Mérida, Hiro Hamada, Baymax, Aladdin, Jasmine, the Guardians of the Galaxy, Ronan the Accuser, Spider-Man, Nova, Iron Fist, Venom and the Green Goblin.
Disney Infinity 3.0 will also introduce an all-new, 3-D Toy Box Hub that will make it easier for players to choose from a wider selection of gameplay experiences — including platform, racing, and farming simulation games. Two new multiplayer Toy Box Expansion Games will bring action-adventure gameplay in Toy Box Takeover and kart racing in Toy Box Speedway, where kids and families can play with popular Disney, Disney•Pixar, Marvel and Star Wars characters together in a structured setting. Disney Infinity 3.0 is being developed by Avalanche Software in partnership with Ninja Theory, Sumo Digital, Studio Gobo and United Front Games, and will be available for the PlayStation®4 and PlayStation®3 computer entertainment systems, Xbox One, the all-in-one games and entertainment system and Xbox 360 games and entertainment system from Microsoft, the Wii U™ system from Nintendo, PC and iOS and Android devices.
