One month after the controversial tweet pertaining to artists who lip sync, singer Rhap Salazar appeared on Aquino & Abunda Tonight to explain his side. There are so many opinions regarding the statement of Rhap in his social media account, others agreed while others contradicts his opinion.
Boy Abunda, asked Rhap what was the true meaning of his statement and the singer replied that he is not pertaining to the artist in particular but to the act of lip-syncing alone. His statement became big when he tweeted it right after the opening number of ASAP 20. Rhap said he is not against to any others he just not like the act of lip-syncing, which for him he put so much effort everytime to perform and see others doing it the easy way.
Rhap also adds that he find unfair that others appreciate others with that kind of performance which he clears not poiting to anyone in particular. Boy said that it’s not about the voice alone but the whole packages. He said that he respect those who those who lip-sync because of health concerns but according to him even he is not feeling well he make sure if he can do it he will sing live.
In regards with mixed opinions toward his statement, Rhap said that he respects the opinions of others whether it agrees or opposes hi opinion.
