Malacanang announces Nov 18 and 19, 2015 as special non-working holiday on NCR during APEC Leaders’ Summit

In line with the conclusion of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Summit that will happen on November 18 and 19, 2015 that will in the Philippines, Malacanang announced that the said date where the leaders will have their meeting will be a special non-working holiday where there will be no classes and work for non-operations.

This is the 27th year of the APEC Summit. This will be the second time that the Philippines will be the venue of the summit. The first one was in Subic in 1996 during the administration of Fidel V. Ramos. Countries participating the APEC Summit include Australia, Brunei, Canada, Chile, China, Hongkong, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Peru, Philippines, Russia, South Korea, Thailand, United States and Thailand.

APEC Summit tackles relationship between countries and other concerns such as economy, environment and others.
