After their decision of transferring their children from International School in Laguna to a private school in General Santos City, Sarangani Vice Governor Jinkee Pacquiao mentioned in her interview in the Philippine Daily Inquirer together with her husband boxing champ and Sarangani Representative Manny Pacquiao that she’s no longer running on the next election. She said that after her term as Sarangani Vice Governor that she will no longer seek for another political position instead she wanted to focus on her family. She also mentioned that she will be handling the family business at the same time devoting her time to her children who is now with them.

According to Jinkee that having one politician in the family is enough pertaining to her husband Manny. She said she wanted to give others the chance to run in public office.

With her children transferring to Hope Christian School in General Santos City to Brent International School, she said that her they’re not having difficulty and the already adjusted. The reason for their decision to transfer them to GenSan, Jinkee answered I briefly by telling that they need to do this to strengthen their relationship and to provide their children the guidance and support.

As for Manny running on 2016 election, there’s no conformation yet if he will seek re-election or higher position.
