Last June 5 episode of Pangako Sa’Yo, where the characters of Yna Macaspac and Angelo Buenavista played by Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla officially came out in the show, fans rejoiced and tweets their positive comments about the show. The official hashtag for the night #PSYYnaAtAngelo reached more than 1.62M tweets that trended on Twitter number 1 both Philippines and Worldwide. Day before the said episode, the hashtag #PSYAngBastasNgApi pertaining to the grief and anger of Amor played by Jodi Sta. Maria reached 1.21M and garnered 36.4% in ratings much higher than the rival show in the other network.
The episode last Friday showed the life of Yna living with the Macaspac family who adopted her after the tragedy in the Buena Mines that caused the death of her family. Amor, Yna’s mother who came from HongKong as domestic helper didn’t know that she survived and promised herself to make the Buenavistas pay for the death of her loved ones.
Yna need to work hard to earn for a living for her new family but the wife of his brother Caloy (Joem Bascon), Julieta (Sunshine Garcia) is not good to her. While his Kuya Caloy has a hidden desire to Yna and tries to be extra nice to her. The name of Sunshine trended on Twitter because of the scene where she hurt Yna in the scene and snatched the necklace that only connects her with her mother.
Meanwhile, Yna accidentally met Angelo after having a dip in the river. She bump her head in the edge of the raft that Angelo is riding. Surprise with Yna’s yelling, Angelo fell on the raft and Yna tried to saved him. Yna didn’t know that Angelo was just faking that he was unconscious.
On Monday, the ill-fated life of Yna continues as Julietta pushed her to work in a bar and the growing desire of Caloy to her. Will her Macaspac parents, her friends or even Angelo come to her rescue?
