After a quick teaser in It’s Showtime last June 15 where he was wearing a turban and a mask, Big Brother officially revealed the face and personality of Ryan James Bacalla in TV Patrol and Aquino & Abunda Tonight. He is a 14-year old Kid Sunshine of Cebu who will be the first teen housemate to be revealed in the Pinoy Big Brother 737 The Big Reveal week prior to the kick off on June 20.
Ryan, who claimed that he encountered bullying in school. At the age of 14 he wanted to represent the LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender) community. Which during the interview with Kris Aquino and Boy Abunda, he said his main goal which Boy admired him. The other two reasons whe wanted to develop his skills and talents and third if ever he won he wanted to donate 20% of his winning to their adoration chapel in Cebu.
He auditioned in the Cebu leg of Pinoy Big Brother 737 in Pacific Mall in the Mandaue City.
