After the breathtaking final showdown between Alisah Bonaobra of Team Apl de Ap and Jason James Dy of Team Sarah Geronimo, Jason emerge as the champion of The Voice of the Philippines Season 2. This was the second championship for Team Sarah after winning the The Voice of the Philippines Kids. With percentage of votes which is 52.94%, Jason captured the viewers of the show where as his rival performer only got 47.06%.
Before the final showdown Rence Rapanot represented Team Bamboo, Alisah Bonaobra for Team Apl, Jason James Dy for Team Sarah and Lea Patricio for Team Lea were included in the Final 4 of the competition. They performed series of songs that involved a duet with a singer, solo performance, back-to-back performance with fellow contenders and duet with their coachers. Each performance the voting lines were opened and after the commercial gap it was temporarily closed and all votes were added in order to determine the final 2 singers for the final showdown. 19.17% of the total votes goes to Leah, 18.02% goes to Rence while the remaining 40.09% and 22.72% were not mentioned that time to make it a mystery who among Alisah and Jason got those votes.
For the final 2 showdown, their scores are back to zero and Jason started the performance with Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin and followed by Alisah with All By Myself. They were only given a one commercial gap for the public voting.
