With the accident that involves the actor and Cavite Vice Governor Jolo Revilla that happened last February 28, there are two sides of the story emerges involving the reasons of why he allegedly shot himself. The first reason came from the manager and TV host Lolit Solis who said that it was self-afflicted. She said that Jolo is facing emotional problem, which connects on the detention of his father, Senator Bong Revilla who was reportedly to be moved to a regular cell in connection with the pork barrel case filled against him together with fellow senators Jinggoy Estrada and Juan Ponce Enrille.
Solis said that Jolo was very close to his father and it was hard for him to face this kind of problem. With the statement of Solis it seems that she is leading to an idea that Jolo shot himself whereas the spokesperson of the Revilla family Atty. Raymond Fortun denied and give another side of the story.
Atty. Fortun said that it was an accident whereas Jolo was just cleaning his government issued gun and accidentally pulled the trigger that shot him in the chest. He also clarified that Jolo will not do such things like that which they are supporting each other as they continue to be the strength of Bong who was detained.
Earlier in The Buzz, Solis gave another statement telling that she’s close to the Revilla family and continue with her statement that is was really hard for Jolo to know the situation of his father. And she also thanked Jodi Sta. Maria the alleged girlfriend of Jolo not leaving his side.
As this article being written, Jolo undergo operation to prevent internal bleeding caused by the gunshot. His mother, actress and Representative 2nd District of Cavite Lani Mercado is asking for the public for prayers for her son for the speedy recovery.
