Nikki Gil was wearing the engagement ring all along since December when her non-showbiz boyfriend and nephew of the singer Joey Albert, BJ Albert proposed to her last December 13, 2014 in a “corporate event” planned by BJ with the permission of Nikki’s parents. But it was just only last February 6 that Nikki confirmed to the entertainment press that she’s engaged with BJ during her interview in ABS-CBN’s Bandila.
Nikki is very happy with BJ who is a businessman. Their relationship is very quiet until the confirmation of their engagement came. It was hard for Nikki to fall in love once again after her break up with her 5-year boyfriend Billy Crawford but BJ was the person who came to her life, which she considered 2014 as the year of her healing.
Billy is now with his co-host in It’s Showtime Coleen Garcia. Meanwhile, Nikki was the second person who confirmed engagement whereas Toni Gonzaga confirmed her engagement with director Paul Soriano in The Buzz last February 1.
