ABS-CBN brings Your Face Sounds Familiar in the Philippines!

From the franchise owner of partners with ABS-CBN in bringing Pinoy Big Brother, Pinoy Dream Academy, 1 vs. 100, Pinoy Fear Factor and Wheel of Fortune in the Philippines will bring another show that will bring out the singing talent in every Filipinos at the same time transform them to be the look-a-like of the singers they wanted to be. The show Your Face Sounds Familiar that will not only encourage the celebrity performers to sing the song of their favorite iconic singers but also to be like them the way they look.

There are more than 40 countries that airs their own version of the show including the United States, Brazil, Argentina, Germany, Italy, Purtugal, Romania, Russia, Spain, United Kingdom, Indonesia, and Vietnam. And soon on Philippines together with Canada, Colombia, Croatia, Ecuador, Georgia, Malaysia and South Africa, they will be airing their own versions too.

Here’s the teaser of Your Face Sounds Familiar whereas ABS-CBN acquired the franchise in the Philippines.

In the versions of other countries: each celebrity becomes transformed into a different singer each week, and performs an iconic song and dance routine well known by that particular singer. The ‘randomiser’ can choose any older or younger artist available in the machine, or even a singer of the opposite sex, or a deceased singer. The contestants are awarded points from the judges based on their singing and dance routines. After the jury vote, the contestants have to give a set of points to a fellow contestant of their choice. The total score of each contestant is counted by summing the points from judges and contestant’s voting.Whoever is at the top of the leaderboard at the end of the each show receives a cash prize for a charity of their choice and a further grand prize for the “series champion”.
