In the continuation of the first results night for the live show of The Voice of the Philippines Season 2 on the Newport Performance Arts Theater (NPAT) in Resorts World Manila, Coaches are now on the hot seat to save one of their team member.
Lea Salonga decided to bring Nino Alejandro on the next round while Apl.de.Ap selected Suy Galvez for his team. Sarah Geronimo will be bringing Jason Fernandez to the next round and lastly Bamboo decided to take Rita Martinez.
Before the coaches selected the contestant who will be joining the next round Leah Patricio of Team Lea, Daryl Ong of Team Apl, Monique Lualhati of Team Sarah and Kai Honasan of Team Bamboo were saved because of the text and online votes
Two contestants from each team are moving to the semi-finals Nino Alejanro and Leah Patricio of Team Lea, Suy Galvez and Daryl Ong of Team Apl, Monique Lualhati and Jason Fernandez of Team Sarah and Kai Honasan and Rita Martinez for Team Bamboo.
During the performance night last, January 24 on the same venue, Team Sarah, Poppert Bernardas sang, I Feel Good followed by Monique Lualhati singing Maging Sino Ka Man and Jason Fernandez with Hanggang. In the Team Apl Ferns Tosco performed It’s a Heartache, Daryl Ong sings Let’s Stay Together Suy Galvez with I Won’t Give Up.
In the Team Lea Nino Alejandro sang, Nakapagtataka, Leah Patricio performed Queen of the Night and Abbey Pineda sings Sana Maghinta’y Ang Walang Hanggan. Lastly, in Camp Kawayan or Bamboo Rita Martinez sings Smells Like Teen Spirit, Kai Honasan performed Blank Space and Karlo Mojica ended the show with his rendition of Footloose.
