During the concluding mass in the Quirino Grandstand in Luneta last January 18 during the Papal Visit where more than 6 million Roman Catholic participated the said event, netizens who were watching the coverage noticed the emcee who are keep on shouting before and after the mass. Most of them posted on their social media accounts that the emcee in Luneta is destroying the solemnity of the event that was headed by Pope Francis.
Other described the event as circus or a noontime show because the emcee keeps on shouting and repeating his words. The emcee is Father Hans D. Magdurulang, the parochial priest of Holy Spirit Parish (Espiritu Santo Parish) in Sta. Cruz, Manila. He saying sorry to what he did last Sunday who was offended but according to him the only thing in his mind was to do the work he was assigned on that day.
He was the one assigned to lead the rosary before the mass and at the same time to remind the people the important things and the instructions they need to know.
According to him, to those who appreciated him he is thankful to them and to those who were offended he is very sorry about it and hoping for their understanding.
