Mary Jean Lastimosa or MJ may not win the Miss Universe crown or be in the Top 5, but she became the winner of the Filipino supporters who followed his journey from Binibining Pilipinas to Miss Universe Coronation Night in Florida International University Arena in Doral Miami in Florida, USA. MJ just landed on the Top 10 of Miss Universe 2014 and wows the audience with her beautiful smile and confidence as she walk in the stage in evening gown, national costume and swimsuit.
After few days of being quiet in the social media, MJ Lastimosa in her Instagram account posted her message to her followers thanking them for their overwhelming support. She said she’s proud to be a Filipino and she’s overwhelmed with the love and support that her countrymen are giving her.
MJ is a 27-year-old businesswoman, actress and model that grew in North Cotabato, Mindanao. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Mindanao. Before landing the title of Miss Universe Philippines 2014 candidate, she already joined Binibining Pilipinas 2011 where she landed 2nd Runner-Up and in 2012 where she became part of Top 12 Semifinalist. She already appeared on TV via the longest running morning series Be Careful With My Heart.
