After his vacation, Kapamilya prime actor John Lloyd Cruz officially renews his contract with ABS-CBN which includes series of TV shows and movies which will be announced very soon. He was speculated to jump on the rival network but there were no confirmation on the alleged information that circulated among the entertainment media because of his withdrawal with the TV series Bridges of Love with Jericho Rosales and Maja Salvador.
John Lloyd inked his renewal with the Kapamilya network together with ABS-CBN President Charo Santos-Concio, Channel 2 Head Cory Vidanes, Star Cinema Managing Director Malou Santos and Star Magic’s Mariol Alberta.
Before he renew his contract with ABS-CBN, John Lloyd is already a mainstay in Home Sweetie Home with Toni Gonzaga and one of the stars of ASAP. John Lloyd’s recent project was the film The Trial with Richard Gomez, Gretchen Barretto and Jessy Mendiola where he received positive reviews regarding his portrayal. His first appearance in ABS-CBN in Palibhasa Lalake in 1997 and was given a big break when he became part of the weekend teen oriented drama series Tabing Ilog in 1999.
Be is one of the charismatic actors of ABS-CBN where his tandem with various leading ladies including Bea Alonzo, Sarah Geronimo and Toni Gonzaga became a huge hit on both TV and movie.
