On the second batch of Team Lea Salonga for the Knock Out Round of The Voice of the Philippines are her “musicians” namely Casper Blancaflor, Nino Alejandro and Mic Llave. According to Lea they are very inclined to their music and have passion for it. Casper sings Evanescence’s Bring Me To Life, which she gave more operatic approach with piano. Following Casper is Mic with the Freddie Aguilar hit song Anak and lastly, Nino with Nazareth’s Love Hurts.
Lea reminds their batch that its not with the power of the voice on how they reach the high tone but how they make it appealing to those who listens to their song. Lea praised Casper who was a former Bamboo’s team member, which according to her has a very beautiful voice.
Sarah Geronimo said that Casper gave her best which Bamboo agreed. Apl de Ap said that Nino gave his best. Lea chooses Nino and Casper. Mic’s journey officially ended his journey in The Voice of the Philippines Season 2.
